Flocking is the process of directly applying polyester fibers in the desired size, composition and color; on a base previously covered (totally or partially) with adhesive, to achieve a smooth, uniform and velvety texture that allows friction without resistance.

In the extrusion process we use it specifically in the production of automotive felts, which are manufactured in different designs depending on whether they are to be installed in buses, cars or trucks.

An automotive plush is a product used in the window frame of buses, cars and trucks, in order to allow a smooth and firm sliding of the glass avoiding noise, friction and water seepage.

Our flocked profiles are manufactured in an EPDM polymer base, the flocking process begins with the extrusion of the product required according to its application, which will then be gratted on one of its surfaces to allow the application of the adhesive that in turn will facilitate the adhesion of the Flock or nylon fluff. This process is carried out by magnetism and then goes through a post-curing tunnel to ensure the bonding.

Automotive flocked rubbers are in great demand in the automotive replacement market since, due to their continuous use in the movement of the windows, they wear out easily generating friction, noise and water filtration and therefore their replacement is opportune since otherwise it generates greater damages.
